The Provincial Office of TESDA Misamis Oriental contributes a big bulk of the regional targets in almost all of the TVET deliverables.  This Province is unique because its capital, the City of Cagayan de Oro, is independently governed from the Province. The Province has 23 Municipalities, 3 Cities, 4 Congressional Districts and it has a TVET strength of 126 TVIs, 36 Assessment Centers (160 Qualifications) and 524 TVET Programs as of July 1, 2026.  The TVET landscape of Misamis Oriental is fast growing, its clientele wide in scope and varied in many ways – culture, ethnicity, needs, interests.
 
TESDA Misamis Oriental is considered the biggest TESDA Provincial Office in Region 10.
